The BHS mission is to provide safe, temporary supportive housing and services so people in need can secure permanent housing. Please send in your check for $40/car written out to “Bayside Housing & Services” or “OPR-PCA” to OPR-PCA at P.O. Box 3572, Silverdale, WA 98383-3572 by 7/20/18. Even if you can’t join us, any donations are welcome. We are hoping to have as many cars attending as possible, so please RSVP to Robert Bernardo at or phone: (360) 201-4185 by 7/20/18, so we can get an accurate count for planning. Meet 8:45A at the Poulsbo McDonalds (20533 Viking Ave.) or 10A at the Old Alcohol Plant (310 Hadlock Bay Rd.) in Port Hadlock for the car show. Awards will be given for first, second and third place cars. During the car show enjoy the Porsches, vote for your favorite car, enjoy the art inside the hotel, enjoy the Block Party festivities, take in the marina/water, or grab a bite at the restaurant. Be sure to bring folding chairs, sunscreen, hats/sun umbrellas, water and soft drinks to keep you cool and jackets/sweaters should it be cool.
Join us for lunch at noon followed by the meeting at the O’Rorke’s home/yard in Sequim. Steve and Kathy are providing a large “make your own sandwich” buffet (with a freshly roasted turkey and spiral ham, breads and trimmings, salads, fruits, and homemade cake). They will provide Lemonade, Iced Tea, and H2O but if you’d like an adult beverage, please bring it for yourselves or to share. The cost is $8 per person, payable at the event in cash. Please RSVP to Kathy & Steve O’Rorke at (360) 460-6080 by 8/4/18. There is no need to bring folding chairs, as there are ample places to sit in the shade or sun, or even the new gazebo (which Kathy has been wanting for years!). She noted that some of their fruit trees will be ready for picking, and we are welcome to pick and enjoy some fruit to take home.

hosted by Kip Sparber & Anna Hoey at their home in Belfair. The club is providing the Pulled Pork & Baked Beans from the Wig Wam Pub and beverages. We are looking forward to welcoming new members who have joined during the past year or who have never attended an event before. Seasoned club members should plan to bring an appetizer, salad or dessert. Just let Maryann know what you plan to bring when you RSVP, so we don’t have too much of any one thing. We are also looking for yard games to play (i.e., Badminton, Croquet, Bocce Ball, etc.), so let Maryann know if you have one to bring when you RSVP. Must RSVP by 8/8/18 to Maryann Elwell at (253) 853-4003, since we need to order the BBQ one week prior. Directions will be emailed to those who RSVP.
