You'll need a car, a navigator, and a camera (or cell phone with a camera). A paper map of Kitsap county might be handy (use of electronic navigation is not allowed). We can't tell you any more than that. It's a surprise. The driving portion of the day will be no more than 2 hours. Meet us at the Gig Harbor McDonalds (off Olympic Drive) at 9:30A. For Sunday, meet at Gig Harbor McDonalds (Olympic Dr. exit of Hwy 16) at 7:45A to depart at 8:15A for the track. Those who haven’t pre-registered can pay at the gate, but won’t be able to park in the Corral and participate in track laps. 3rd-9th– Porsche Parade 2010. Will take place at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois. Registration 7-Noon with Dash plaques and Goodie bags to the first 200 registrants. Breakfast available until 9 am. Lunch: Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Soda & Snacks. The proceeds are used to assist the Lodge in its charitable activities such as: Elks Therapy Program for Children, Children’s Hospital, Retsil Veterans Home, local area children’s sports activities. Front St.) in Port Angeles for those who want to stay over the night before Porsches on the Pier. The entire place is newly redone, including flat screen TV's, all new interiors, etc. If there's enough interest, we will plan to attend the drag races in Forks or a drive up to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park ($15 park fee per car) around 2P on Saturday. During the car show enjoy the local Arts in Action Street Fair featuring music, sand sculptors, artist booths, family events, Underground tours, vendors and food. This year our Porsches will be the featured cars on display in the court yard up front, so we’d like to get as many participants as possible. Meeting at 7:15A at the Gig Harbor McDonalds (Olympic Drive exit of Hwy 16). For more info. go to their website. For planning the car layout in the court yard, must RSVP by 6/30/10 to Brian Forde by email or (360) 692-2018. 31st – 9A–5P Port Ludlow Car Show. Held in conjunction with the Port Ludlow Days Fair Weekend. This year the cars will be displayed in paved parking lots near the entrance. The $25.00 registration fee includes breakfast and lunch for two. A two hour afternoon Gimmick rally will be held with substantial prizes awarded. Awards will be presented for the rally and Show & Shine after 4:00PM. An evening concert with a wine & beer garden and grilled food will begin at 6:00PM on the waterfront lawn. Tickets can be purchased at that event. Registration is open to the first 100 cars. The form can be found on www.portludlowtoday.com. Mail the car show registration form to the address listed. December 201011th– 6:00P/7:00P – Cocktail Hour/Holiday Party at Little Creek Casino & Resort located at 91 Hwy 108 in Shelton, just off of Hwy 101. We will have a sit down dinner (choice of Beef, Chicken, Pork or Vegetarian by request) for $45/person in a private banquet room with a no host bar. There will be special parking for Porsches. Everyone will receive a $5 bonus for the casino with any gambling card purchase and there will be live entertainment/concert that night at the club. We will have a silent auction to raise money for the club and of course present the member participation awards and announce the 2011 Board of Directors. There will also be an optional gift exchange.
